John Coates
Principal
John commenced in the construction industry in the 1990’s. He began his career in the insurance industry in the early 2000’s as an estimator, a couple of years after completing his building studies. John progressed quickly, advancing to construction management with a focus on major and complex loss. This continues a passion for John. During his time in the insurance industry, several projects under his direction were awarded AICLA (VIC) Builder of the Year honours.
The transition into consulting has been an aspiration for John for some time. An aspiration stoked by a desire to find alternative ways to address the complexities of insurance property reinstatement and drive faster, consistently better outcomes for all stakeholders.
